Earlier this year we gave one lucky person the chance to win a days coaching with Mark Pollard through one of our Club Matrix competitions. The lucky angler drawn at random was Tom Maguire and he was soon in contact with us to organise a day on the bank. 

Tom had recently got back into fishing and it turned out the competition for the free coaching day, was the very first one he had entered… talk about beginners luck! The venue we all agreed on was Tunnel Barn Farm and we would be looking at the tactics needed to catch from a typical snake lake in winter.
