We join Jon Arthur at the prolific Bishops Bowl fishery where he explains how you can double your catch with one simple tactic.

At this time of year I think we all start to get a bit excited. The suns out, the temperature is starting to rise, we’re starting to feed some bait and the fish begin to respond. The only problem is that a lot of anglers put the carp blinkers on and ignore a lot of other species that can really help you build a match winning weight.

Today we’re at Bishops Bowl fishery, it’s a stunning venue and I’m sat on “Cliff” and it’s pretty obvious how it gets its name thanks to the fantastic backdrop. What I’m hoping to demonstrate today is how to get the very best from this type of venue, a venue that holds a good head of carp but also tench, bream and skimmers.
